| Announcements |
- Come join us at the Booster Club meetings every second Monday of the month. Everyone
is Welcome! Booster Club meetings will be held at the high school cafeteria on the 2nd
Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
| Football Team Tames Tigers |
- The varsity Texans hosted Dripping Springs on Friday, September 3. The Texans blew
open a close game in the 3rd quarter to win 33-14 over their RR 12 rivals. Follow the

| Volleyball Team Keeps Rolling |
- The Lady Texans won the Hays Rebel Bash volleyball tournament on Saturday, September
4. The Lady Texans are 24-2 on the season. Follow the link above to the volleyball page for

| Cross Country Team Off and Running |
- The Cross Country Team hosted the 12th annual Texan Cross Country Invitational on

| Fall Tennis Team in Full Swing |
- The Tennis Team is going strong with team tennis matches. The Texans dominated
Bastrop in a Team Tennis match on Thursday, September 2. Follow Tennis link above for

- The fund raising Fall Adult Tennis Tournament will be will be held Oct. 9th and 10th. This
year, at Laura Egenolf’s suggestion, and with Laurie McDonald’s blessing, the name of the
Annual Fundraising Tennis Tournament is being changed to the “Jay McDonald Memorial
Tournament”.
The Wimberley Valley knew Jay as a tireless supporter of the youth of the community.
Associating Jay’s name with an annual event that directly benefits the youth in the
Wimberley ISD school tennis program just feels right.
